If Bloodshed loses this week and we win then we can clinch the division title with a win over Bloodshed in the final week. That would allow us to be able to choose our opponent. It's not that important to have that happen but it is nice because you don't know what kind of injuries that may happen which would cripple a team. We remain in the lead of the overall title by 43 pts.

With a win this week, the Invitational team can really take a big step towards a playoff berth. With a win we would have to not get outscored by a good amount of points. On the flip side, a loss would mean it would be tougher to get in for us. We need to win.

I will have a match-up breakdown by Thursday for Danielle's Championship bout vs. Polish Shamrocks.

Week 12- Semi-Finals Showdown

If you'd have told me some of the things that would take place on Thurs/Sun I would have said you're nuts. Even though I have a bitter taste in my mouth I have to say we had a decent week overall. We lost a Semi-Final game and won one. I had hopes that both teams would win but it wasn't meant to be. I am happy for Danielle as she is one step away from playing for 300,000... and that is very exciting.

Ray Ray's Revenge- Main Event
A season that looked magical has quickly been dashed. Losing out on the $1250 bonus becuase of the week 8 blunder by yours truly has stuck with this team the final 4 weeks. We lost handily 135.7+ to 112.45.

Our team just flat out stunk. We had our combo of Roddy White/Matt Ryan score a combined 20pts. WR Anquan Boldin had his 3rd out of 4 weeks under 6 pts. Dez Bryants 0 certainly didn't help the cause. Our opponent had a decent score but our team certainly should have played better than this.

We remain in the hunt for a wild card into the 300,000 contest and with a win next week can earn another $500. I just feel like this team under achieved big time. Ugh!

Rae Rae's Revenge-Main Event
Enough depressing talk. Danielle is in the Championship!!! The are winning 107.25 w/ WR Michael Crabtree left to 94.05. If you think about the journey Danielle has had to be one game away from a spot in the dance is amazing.

We didn't even have this team until just before the season started and if any of our investors thought the facebook contest was a stupid waste of time it won us a guarenteed $1500. We now have a chance to trade in the $1500 for $5500 with another win. Arn't you glad you guys threw in the extra few bucks to fly Rae down there. I sure am.

RB Ray Rice and Arian Foster again paced the team with solid production. It is looking more and more like Danielle's dream season will continue past week 13. Very exciting!

Ray Ray's Revenge-Auction League
Our auction team has lost a big chunk of the overall lead and now hold a tedius 43 pt lead for the overall title. It isn't because we played that bad though because we scored 148 pts. The problem was the team behind us really scored a lot of points. It's important to just focus 1 week at a time.

We still have a full month of games left and if our team can hold it together the next few weeks we will be ok. They won their match-up so we move to 7-5 on the year but remain 2 full games behind our division winner despite the 400 total point lead against him.

Ray Ray's Revenge-Invitational League
Remember when our Invitaional team was struggling? Well, they won again to push our record to 7-5 scoring 125.65. We need RB Frank Gore to have less than 25 pts or so to be leading our division after this week. We have been gaining a lot momentum lately and will hopefully be in the playoffs come week 15. Still 2 weeks left before that is decided.

So the money we have earned so far in the contest is $2750.

If my team wins next week we win $500.

If Rae's team wins next week we win an extra $4000 and a chance for 300,000. Go get it guys.

Our auction team remains in the hunt for the $5000 overall title and can still win league prizes.

The invitational team can still win there league, but needs to qualify for the playoffs first.

League Playoffs- SemiFinals

Ray Ray's Revenge Main Event team will be facing off against East Coast Pirates in round 1. Both teams have a few guys going on Thanksgiving so tomorrow will be a nervous day for sure. If we can get off to a decent start I like our chances. Here is a breakdown of who we play against. Our players are listed first.

QB- Matt Ryan vs Aaron Rodgers/Michael Vick
Ryan is at a disadvantage vs ECP QB's. Both are very talented and explosive. I am guessing he starts Rodgers. Hopefully, Matty Ice can at least stay close to him.

Advantage- East Coast Pirates

RB- LaDainian Tomlinson, Arian Foster, Darren McFadden vs. Knowshon Moreno, Thomas Jones, Brandon Jackson.
Our RB's have ok match-ups, his I would say are average. I think ours have much more potential for a big day.

Advantage- Ray Rays Revenge

WR- Roddy White, Anquan Boldin, Dez Bryant vs. Calvin Johnson, Eddie Royal or Nate Washington, Robert Meachem.
He has Calvin Johnson so that worries me some. I feel like Calvin needs to have a big day if he is going to beat us so Thursday afternoon will be an important match-up. I love our WR's and feel Anquan Boldin is due for a nice game.

Advantage- Ray Ray's Revenge

TE- Jacob Tamme vs Aaron Hernandez or Antonio Gates

Missing out on Gates would be nice as he is doubtful to play Sunday night. Hernandez is a great talent and has been surprising quiet the last few games.(which scares me) Tamme has been pretty solid and with WR Austin Collie out he will remain a big part of Indy offense.

Advantage- Ray Ray's Revenge

K- Shayne Graham vs Graham Gano
Our K (Shayne Graham) goes in the early Thanksgiving game so we'll know quickly how he is going to do.

Advantage- East Coast Pirates

D/ST- Indianapolis vs Arizona

Advantage- Push

Outlook- We have an advantage talent wise on ECP but of course that isn't always king. Hopefully our guys stay healthy and back up their terrific regular season with a memorable post season run. I still don't know who Danielle will be playing but she doesn't have any Thurs. night players going.

Week 11 Standings- The field is set.

When I told you about investing in me I said the chances of winning our league was 1 in 4. I fulfilled my end of the bargain by getting both teams into the WCOFF playoffs. Now it is up to fate to see if our hopes of taking home a league championship can be realized. It is a two week sprint where absolutely anything can happen.

Ray Ray's Revenge finishes the regular season as the Total Points champion and winner of the $1,250 prize. We lost out on the record and the other $1,250 that came with it. I am happy with the health of the team going into the week 12 match-up and feel if our guys play to their potential we will be the recipient of the $2,500 prize and the chance to win another $3,000 next week.

Danielle's team did it! They now have as good a chance as anyone to win the league title. WR Vincent Jackson now returns to add some dynamite to a questionable WR corp. If some things can get resolved (WR's play at a hgh level, TE consistent) then we can have a league championship and another chance at the $300,000. The winner of the league Regular Season gets to choose his opponent so we won't know who we play till tomorrow night/Thursday morning.

Well, our league was cut in half in one week. We now lead the overall contest by 85 pts. The loss of WR Hakeem Nicks is going to make us really earn the overall championship but we can survive. I will probably have to hit the waiver wire a bit this week in hopes of adding some needed talent to a suddenly weakened WR corp. I am not going to worry about this until our team struggles two weeks in a row.

The invitational team won to move their record to 6-5. Gaining momentum they will have to navigate the next 3 weeks w/out falling too far behind. It's important to keep winning games and/or score points because we're only 31 pts behind the wild card. This team isn't an explosive roster but they have guys playing at an extremely high level. They just have to keep riding this high.

Week 11- A good ole fashion butt whooping!

Our hopes for cashing in on another $1,250 went by the wayside and my fears that the benching of RB Arian Foster would cost us dough came to fruition. Danielle's team however came up with a nice showing and will make the playoffs. Wooohooo! So we have 2 teams capable of being money makers, which is always good. WR Hakeem Nicks is out the next 3 weeks which really puts a damper on our Auction team and Invitational team as well. Not good. Hopefully we can get everyone else to step up a bit but this really hurts us. It's the game though and it happens. Nobody feels sorry for us.

Ray Ray's Revenge-Main Event League
My team put up a respectable 131.45 but received a butt whooping by Happy Hour Hero's. I told you he was pretty good and his match-ups were absolutely unbelievable. Perhaps we will see him again and the next time will be different, and for a lot more money. It looks as though we will face off against East Coast Pirates in the first round. I like our match-up but the guys still have to play.

Rae Rae's Revenge-Main Event League
Danielle is in. She has put up 137 with Denver K Matt Prator left. She is gaining some momentum and with WR Vincent Jackson due to return next week we are going to hopefully get better. The top guy in the league gets his choice of picking who he gets to play so it will be interesting to see who he chooses. My guess is it won't be Danielle. Her Rb's are our meal ticket and hopefully they can continue to produce.

The auction team was crushed this week as our opponent scored 200+ points. YIKES! Our Auction team also has lost WR Hakeem Nicks for 3 weeks. Not a good injury for us to absorb but we can do it. Hopefully he gets right and comes back ready to play at a high level. Our other guys need to step up too. We currently have a 85 point lead now and some teams are going to make a run at us. 5 weeks remain to keep the lead so a few more good weeks and we'll be ok. I am not overly concerned yet, we had a bad week and scored 128, that's pretty good.

Ray Ray's Revenge- Invitational League
Our invitational league also has Nicks but Greg Jennings is carrying us right now. He played amazing scoring 40 points. He kicked our butt in the game for $1,250 but won us another invitational league game pushing us to 6-5. We remain a game back in our division but we are near the top of the league for the wildcard pts lead. We may just end up in the playoffs... who knew.

We currently have a 105 point lead for the Pts Championship($1250). If we win next week we get another $1250. We would also will receive the right to choose our next opponent in the $2,500 game next week with a win. The match-up this week is really tough and would say we're not favored to win. OK, As long as we don't tie our game and STRONG wins next week and/or we don't get outscored by 63 points we will head to the playoffs. I am excited because many times I've seen teams like Danielle's that slip into the playoffs an afterthought and come away with a league title. The guy in first will get to pick his opponent more than likely so it will be interesting to see who he chooses. We just want to get there and make some noise.

Well, we are 400 points better than the guy who is a game up on us in the division. It really is amazing that we are not winning our own division but this guy has caught the right match-ups. It's ok, we'll catch him. I am a little worried in the overall contest as Pete's Picks are really poised to challenge us. We both have really good teams so it should be interesting the next few weeks. He has Michael Vick, Chris Johnson and LeSean McCoy. Hopefully, we can keep him at bay. It looks more and more that the overall winner will be either us or him.

The invitational team is back in the race. If we can force a tie for the division we can win it by scoring more overall points. Our team isn't great but they can certainly be a steady point producer down the stretch. Welcome back WR Greg Jennings.

So in closing, we have 4 teams: Ray Ray's Main event has a chance at $2,500 bucks this weekend and are guaranteed a playoff spot. Rae Rae's needs to be steady and not tie to make the playoffs. The auction just needs to keep doing what their doing for 6 more weeks. The invitational needs to keep winning. We have a good chance to make the playoffs in every league, from there we can start to win money.

Playoffs start in 2 weeks for our 2 main event teams. The Auction and Invitational team playoffs start in Week 15.

Week 10- "And down the stretch they come"

It seems more and more like the decision to bench RB Arian Foster back in week 8 may cost us $1,250 bucks. I guess I have to understand that while you strive to be right the majority of the time, you still are going to make mistakes along the way. I consider myself aggressive, out-of-the box when thinking of ways to approach this game. Sometimes it will buck you off when you're on a high horse. We shouldn't be upset at all at this point of the year and our teams' earning potential is very good with only a few weeks left of football. We seem to either be rising or striding come the most important weeks of the year and that is encouraging. Still I feel like tiptoeing as to not break whatever footing that we have under us, even though that footing may be as solid as concrete.

Ray Ray's Revenge-Main Event league posted a very good 179.8 thanks to our Atlanta duo and our 3rd and 4th WR's Danny Amendola and Dez Bryant. I can't say enough about Dez Bryant, he is starting to get things figured out and with the money up for grabs it's nice to know we have his enormous mitts reaching for it. Next week we will play the other really good team in our league (Happy Hour Heros) for the overall record championship. We should be able to maintain the Pts Championship($1,250)but with another win can win $2,500 total going into the 2 money rounds. So next week is huge. This week is the final week for pick-ups so I have to secure a team that can go the long haul and cut our dead weight.

Rae Rae's Revenge-Main Event had another so-so week but the situation is quite positive on Danielle making the playoffs. Basically, as long as we don't tie our game next week and don't get outscored by Please Believe by 71 pts the rest of Monday night and next week Danielle's team will make the playoffs. Please Believe has the Philadelphia D/ST and we have WR Santana Moss. We still can win our match-up this week if Moss has 17 or more pts. That doesn't matter too much in the scheme of things besides taking the need to not tie out of the equation. Confused yet? good.

Ray Ray's Revenge Auction team. What can I say? They are a really good bunch of NFL players. :) They put up a score of 177.75 again this week. I told you we needed to push the pedal down but I didn't actually think they would listen. Even with missing out on a lot of points with our Giants players everyone played astounding and we have pushed our overall lead for the whole 1K auction contest to 152 points. The guy in second place still has K David Akers so it may be trimmed into the 130's but still, I am seeing the $5,000 overall prize and it just winked at me. :) Keep it up boys. 6 weeks left!

Ray Ray's Revenge Invitational League had a great week considering some key guys sat out for us. We put up 155.55 even with WR Jennings sitting out and our number 1 pick stinking up the place. If RB LeSean McCoy and K David Akers combine for 17 pts we will gain a game on the leader and we play them again later in the year so we can make a run at the playoffs.

So spirits are high for the most part as we enter the final week of the season. Hopefully going into week 12, we will have have $2,500 in our pockets and two more games worth $2,500 each to play for in Week 13.

Week 10- Thursday night- "Getting pretty Rowdy"

If you didn't know what WR Roddy White was all about, Thursday Night football confirmed what we have been seeing all year. The dude is a big-time player. The funny thing is my name is Robbie Brown, and his is Roddy White. He is like my alter ego, and perhaps my new favorite NFL player.

Roddy salvaged what appeared to be a disappointing night into a good night. We have Roddy in my Main Event team as well as our Auction league. QB Matt Ryan had a stellar game as well with 28 pts and Boldin had 16 pts (all in 2nd half).

Danielle's team did not fair as well with RB Ray Rice and WR Michael Jenkins combining for 23 points. It wasn't horrible but I was hoping for something in the 30's. It will be close down the stretch to see if her team can make the postseason. I still am confident she will be there competing for the $5,500 league prize and the chance to compete for the $300,000.

The auction team sped away some more in regards to the overall title and it appears more and more like they may not be caught. Just keep hoping the injury bug stays away because the talent this team has is unbelievable.

The invitational team had RB Michael Turner stink it up with only a few points but TE Todd Heap and QB Joe Flacco helped get us to a point total that was ok.

We currently lead the overall record and points championships ($2500) with 2 weeks remaining. If we win 2 more games we probably win the prize. Happy Hour Hero's can certainly take both away from us though in the coming weeks. He has a very good team and it will certainly be a battle. I need to hit the waiver wire this week and tie any loose ends to our roster so we are ready for the playoffs.

Danielle's near win last week against Deader Money looms large now. She is quietly making a run at total points championship and head to head. Only 55 points behind another big week may position her to be in the hunt for some guaranteed prize money. She is missing RB D.McFadden so it is important that I make the right choice as to who to play. As long as Strong doesn't win out Danielle should be in the playoffs, unless we don't score score well in the next two weeks... Which we all know is a possibility.

Our Auction team is currently 102 points in front of the next highest person in the 1K Auction format. That is a sizable lead so if we can keep the pedal down I think we'll be able to keep spacing ourselves out. Our bye weeks are done so this week it would be nice to put up a 150 score and move out in front further in the standings. A few teams behind us pose a threat to our lead but if our team just takes care of their business nobody can catch us.
If we can win our league division it would be nice because we would get to pick who we want to play in the first round of the playoffs. That can be huge if somebody has some injuries and may be shorthanded. It would be nice to go on a winning streak and finish strong.

Well, unfortunately WR Terrell Owens and QB Carson Palmer beat us out last night to drop us to 4-5. We are currently 2 full games behind the leader in our division but plenty of time left. We still play him once more so if we can gain a game on him in the next few weeks and keep scoring well we can catch him. With WR Greg Jennings out it will be tough this week, but our team has been doing better of late so I am not giving up hope yet.

The Falcons play the Ravens on Thursday Night football this week so cheer for WR's Roddy White, Michael Jenkins, Anquan Boldin. RB's Ray Rice and Michael Turner. We have quite a few guys going so hopefully it's a shootout.

Week 9- "I am the Smartest man alive!!!!"

Well, in Fantasy Football one key ingredient to surviving is to have a short memory. It goes both ways really. You have to remember that 1. Your team is never as good as you think and more importantly
2. Your team is never as bad as you think.

This game will eat you up and spit you out if you fail to obey these simple rules. That is why you see guys quit in week 6,7, or 8 because they can't abide by rule #2. So we all need to keep everything in perspective so we arn't shocked if things fall apart.

But, on that solemn note: We kicked some serious ass this week, making up ground in 2 leagues(Danielle's and the Invitational) remaining steady(Robb's team) and started to push the pedal down in the Auction League.

Ray Ray's Revenge-Main Event
On the heels of a devastating loss in which I messed up, I learned my lesson and stuck with WR Dez Bryant over WR Jordy Nelson and was rewarded this week as Dez stepped up again with 23.7 pts. Our team in general responded after an early injury to WR Roddy White(knee) He returned and played with it so I am hopeful he will be ok. Part of the reason I wanted to draft guys on good teams is I figured if they suffered tweaks and pains, they would be more apt to return and play faster because they were playing for contending teams. That is why you take Roddy White over say Larry Fitzgerald or to a lesser degree Calvin Johnson. We'll see if he plays Thursday night but my guess is he will suit up. We put up 153 pts so far with K Mike Nugent left. We will be leading record and points but there is a team on our heels and it appears it will come down to a Week 11 match-up. mono-e-mono. We have a 50 or so point lead on him for total points so we could still take the overall points championship.

Rae Rae's Revenge-Main Event
Danielle's team went for 166 and still have K Mike Nugent going tonight. She needed a big week and got one. I picked up WR Seyi Ajirotutu and started him rewarding us with 27 pts. I told you I needed to hit the waiver wire and it turned to gold. She also received a good total from RB's Ray Rice and Arian Foster and still believe in my heart her team is the best chance we have at $300,000. Her team is so explosive and she has the trio of RB that can win the whole thing. If WR Vincent Jackson can come back and she can win her league championship; watch out.

Ray Ray's Revenge-Auction League
The Auction team is poised, focused, and hitting on all cylinders. I talked about needing to push the pedal down last week. Our team only came out and put up 197 pts. I have never scored so many points in one week the past 7 years of competition. Our Giants trio led us again pacing a team that now boasts a 110 point lead for the overall title. There are 7 long weeks ahead but things are looking positive right now for us to be a major player for the $5,000 overall title.

Ray Ray's Revenge-Invitational League
The invitational team is winning by 48 points going into MNF but the opponent still has QB Carson Palmer and WR Terrell Owens. Our team is the favorite to win tonight but there is a reasonable chance that he could beat us. With a win we can close the gap in the Division Standings to a single game and trail the leader by 15 points. If there is a tie the tie breaker is total points so we are right there for the Division title.

These weeks the chaff gets separated from the wheat. Teams that were hanging on by a thread are no more. Teams that are contenders step up to the plate, accept the chance that they may be disappointed; but go on with No Fear in their hearts and confidence in their eyes.

I feel a bit dumbfounded, good about how are team scored this week, but in disbelief by the total scores. We didn't quite pull it out last night as we went 0-4. I have myself to blame really as we should have won at least 2 and maybe 3 of those games. My pick-up/Line-up blunders cost us and I just hope we can overcome this and get to where we need to be by Week 12.

Well, Starting RB Beanie Wells over RB Arian Foster may have cost us $2,500. It's easy to always play the guys you "should" and I have never been someone who looks too much into past performances when gauging who to play. The first half was a lot of what I thought could happen to Foster but he busted out in a big way in the 2nd half. It was good though as our other 2 teams needed his scoring. We essentially have to win out to take home the record championship and while doable, not preferred. Our bye weeks are done with and our team is back to full strength. Lets hope it performs.

Danielle lost barely to the first place guy even though in my infinite wisdom I started a guy who scored negative points. Danielle has a rough week with bye's in week 9 so she has to continue to score points. If the season ended today Danielle would be in the playoffs so as long as we can say that each tuesday morning we should remain positive and confident.

The Auction team leads the leader in our Division by 250 pts. Yet, we find ourselves two full games back of him for the lead :). Of no concern to me, we are LEADING the overall contest now by 37 points. Thanks to RB Arian Foster and new TE Jacob Tamme we are through with our bye week concerns and can move forward with the gas pedal floored. My hope is to start to really separate in the next few weeks and take the overall championship in Week 16. A long way to go but we certainly can do it.

Our invitational league just can't seem to get any momentum. We have a ways to go yet before this is finished so if we can just start scoring consistently we can make it back in the race. Bye weeks are done with so hopefully we can start to take off.

Some good news for 2 of our teams(My Main event and Auction) both perhaps found a diamond in the rough in TE Jacob Tamme. He looked terrific tonight and showcased he may have a larger role in their offense moving forward. He may not catch a TD every game but hopefully will consistently be able to get us 10 points a week.

Week 8- Don't do it Robb.... DON'T DO IT!!!! Awww Man... You'd gone did it.

Well, week 8 was set-up to be an difficult week for us when I initially looked at the schedule. But, I made it a bit more difficult by making a few blunders in the waiver wire and line-up changes for the week. There are usually landmark decisions that are made every year that you can point too as turning points in a season. I hope that isn't the case this week.

Ray Ray's Revenge- Main Event

I decided late afternoon to play a hunch and start RB Beanie Wells over RB Arian Foster. Arian has arguably been our best player and the last time he played the Colts scored a lot of points. I thought Beanie could score 20+ though and took a chance. He did score a TD early and seemed poised to put up the number but failed miserably in the 2nd half. We find ourself down 125.05 to 107.15 with Jacob Tamme from Ind left while our opponent has WR Jacoby Jones. It looks like certain defeat and a blow to our chances of winning both the Standings and point league championships.

Rae Rae's Revenge- Main Event

Danielle's team also finds themselves down by a wide margin trailing 98.7 to 75.6. We have RB Arian Foster and TE Owen Daniels while our opponent has WR Reggie Wayne. Another disappointing week for Danielle's team and the harsh reality is it's getting late and this team just doesn't seem to want to click. With 3 weeks left, if Danielle doesn't win this week it looks like she will have to score well the final 3 weeks to make the playoffs. I have to figure out a way to get this team to the final four.

Ray Ray's Revenge- 1K Auction

The auction team looks poised to lose this week also. They trail 142.15 to 89.15 meaning if RB Arian Foster and TE Jacob Tamme don't score 53 points they will fall to .500 on the year.(4-4) Which in and of itself is amazing considering that this team most likely will be leading the entire Auction format after tonight's game. With all the bye weeks really behind them our team needs to push the gas pedal and run away from the competition to take home the overall championship in the Auction format and the $5,000 grand prize. Coincidental I made 2 great moves this week for this team by picking up WR David Gettis(-1.1) and Buster Davis(DNP)and started them this week.(yeah, my bad)

The invitational team is guess what? going to lose, that's right. Right now we trail 103.5 to 82.55 with WR Pierre Garcon and he has QB Peyton Manning. Yeah, not good. Good news is we are still in the fight for a wild card berth but are 2 games behind our divisional leader.


Week 8 was just not a good week for us in general and I hope that it isn't a trend of things to come. I will work hard this week to make sure our teams are built and prepared for the home stretch. Don't panic yet, I have been given worse hands to play with. Cheer on Arian Foster, Pierre Garcon,Jacob Tamme and Owen Daniels tonight and we'll officially put this week in the rear view mirror.
